Trial Overview

Mathcad allows you to experience enhanced calculation power with faster, more accurate solutions and comprehensive worksheets. Mathcad’s ease-of use gets you started quickly, but its powerful features and units-aware math notation let you create and document complex calculations that can be verified and shared with colleagues.

Installation

Save the installation file to your computer (it is 1 GB and will take a few minutes for the download to complete depending on your Internet connection).
Right-click the "MathcadPrime1.0.zip" icon and choose "Extract All". Select a destination for the folder that you can easily locate (such as your desktop). This will create a folder at the specified destination called "MathcadPrime1.0".
Open the MathcadPrime1.0 folder and double-click the "setup.exe" file to start the installation.
After reading and accepting the software license agreement, select "Mathcad Prime 1.0" as the product to be installed. On the following screen, select "Trial/New License". Follow the remaining on-screen instructions to complete installation.
At the end of the installation process open Prime 1.0, click on the Mathcad orb in the upper-left corner, select Mathcad Options… and click on the License tab.
Select Get Trial License.
